MUTTON SHAHI QOURMA
|Mutton with Bones||500 Gram (Half Kg)|
|Ginger Garlic Paste||1 Tbs|
|Red Chili Powder||1 ½ Tsp|
|Turmeric Powder||½ Tsp|
|Mace & Nutmeg Powder||1 Tsp|
|Coriander Powder||1 Tsp|
|Cumin Powder||1 Tsp|
|Green Cardamom||3 to 4|
|Black Cardamom||2 to 3|
|Almond & Cashew Nuts||½ Cup (Chopped)|
|Fried Onion||1 Cup|
Take mutton in a bowl, add all ingredients (except for Kewra Water and Fried Onions).
Marinate and mix well and let it set for 2 hours or more.
In pan, heat oil and add the marinated mutton; cook on low flame. When the yogurt water in the pan starts drying, add pre-fried onions and mix.
Add Kewra Water and again mix well. Cook for another 20 minutes (just so that the mutton meat is tenderized).
Take out and serve hot.
Important Note: Meat will cook in its own water and yogurt water so no need to add extra water to the recipe.
